Magnesite chrome brick is often known as Magnesia Chrome Brick or Magnesia Chromite Brick. It is a basic refractory brick with high performance and can operate in the harshest environments, such as tuyere brick in copper smelting furnace.

Magnesite chrome brick introduction
Magnesite chrome brick is a basic refractory product which containing 55% - 80% MgO and 8% -20% Cr2O3. The main crystal phase is magnesia, composite spinel and a small amount of silicate phase. The composite spinel consists of MgAl2O4, MgFe2O4, MgCr2O4 and FeAl2O4 spinel solid solutions.
Magnesite-chrome brick developed rapidly after 1960s due to the improvement of raw material purity and firing temperature. At present, according to different production methods, magnesite-chrome brick can be divided into general magnesite chrome brick, direct bonded magnesite chrome brick, common sintered magesite chrome brick, rebonded magnesite chrome brick and fused casting magnesite chrome brick.
Magnesite chrome brick characters
Magnesite chrome brick has few impurities and it is fired at high temperature and ultra-high temperature. The glass phase is concentrated in the triangle region of the crystal phase, and the crystal phase and the crystal phase are directly combined. It has the advantages of low porosity, high strength, strong abrasion resistance, erosion resistance, thermal shock resistance and spalling resistance
Magnesite chrome brick Applications
Magnesite-chrome brick is widely used in electric arc furnace, copper smelting furnace, RH, DH vacuum treatment device, refining VOD furnace, AOD furnace, cement rotary kiln, etc
